QCC3040 VFBGA includes an application specific developer processor and a system firmware processor that runs code from internal flash memory. Both processors have tightly coupled memory (TCM) and an on-chip cache to ensure performance when executed from flash memory. The system firmware processor provides functionality developed by Qualcomm Technologies International Limited (QTIL). The developer processor provides product designers with the flexibility to customize their products.
